1. What does CIJ stand for?
CIJ stands for Continuous Inkjet. The printer forms a stream of
small ink droplets and selects some of them to print, resulting in
characters that are deposited on the product. Unused droplets are
recirculated back into the printer, eventually becoming part of the
ink stream again.
2. What applications are recommended for CIJ?
CIJ printers can be used to print on materials such as paper,
plastic, metal, and glass. Typical applications include milk
containers, soda cans, pharmaceuticals, small cardboard boxes,
cable, and small part marking.
3. What is the difference between CIJ and contact coding machines?
CIJ printers is non-contact the object to coding message. The ink
drops by pressure to fly to the object, and form the message
according to the programming in the printer as the moving product
passes by. The distance between the printer head and the product is
typically within 1~12mm.
4. Which ink should I use for my specific application?
Our application technician will support you to select the right ink
that meets your and your customers' specific application needs base
on your actual products.
5. What colors of ink do you offer?
